Beiter played for the men’s volleyball team from 2003-2007, where he was a two-time All American player, the American Volleyball Coaches Association Player of the Year, and set Medaille records in most digs, most aces and most kills. He was also a three-time gold medalist in the Empire State Games. The Eden native was head coach of the Eden Volleyball Club for five years, and has assisted at Mt. St. Mary’s, Canisius High School and Brocton High School. He has participated in developmental camps in Eden and at the University at Buffalo and Canisius High School.
Beiter has a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from Medaille College, and is working toward a master’s degree in student personnel administration. The women’s volleyball season begins on Friday, August 29 with two games at the D’Youville College Spartan Invitational.
