Coach Longo enters his first year at the helm of the Medaille College Cross Country program. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge. Coach Longo began his running career at West Seneca East H.S. and then ran competitively at the University of Buffalo, lettering twice for the Bulls. He earned his Bachelors degree from U.B. in Health & Human Services and then was awarded his Masters in Education from Canisius College.
Jason spent a year as the head coach at Erie Community College along with stints at local high schools including John F. Kennedy and Depew. He holds a Level I Track and Field Coaching Certification from the USATF and has been a certified New York State Track and Cross Country Official for ten years.
Coach Longo is looking to move the cross country program forward through a disciplined training regimen coupled with detailed analysis of each runners pace and stride.
Coach Longo resides in West Seneca, NY with his daughter Josephina.
