2009 Preview: The Medaille College cross country team will enter its first season under new head coach Jason Longo. Coach Longo is looking to move the Mavs into the upper echelon of AMCC teams. He will look to junior Bridget George (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island)(pictured) who will be returning to help lead the team. She was the Mavs’ top runner in 2008 and is poised for another strong season. Junior Ashlea Browning (Jamestown, NY/Jamestown) will be called upon to post quality times as well. The men’s squad will be following the lead of of a pair of runners as junior Chris Musial (Lancaster, NY/St. Francis) will look to improve upon his 2008 campaign. While sophomore Chris Ribble (Addison, NY/Addison HS) was the Mavs top runner in 2008. Both teams will look to Longo for his expertise and wealth of knowledge.
