Haberman, John 3The Medaille College golf team finished up fall play at Thoms Run G.C. in the AMCC Championships.  The two day tournament determines the AMCC Team Champion and who represents the conference in the NCAA Tournament.  It would be Penn State-Behrend who would come out victorious in a tiebreaker over three time defending AMCC Champion Penn State-Altoona.  The Mavs would post a day one team score of (340) and would shave seven strokes off that mark by carding a team score of (333) on Monday.  Leading the way for Medaille was junior John Haberman (Kenmore, NY/Kenmore West) (pictured) who shot a (79) on day one and followed that up with a team best (76) for a two day total of (155).  Haberman was followed by sophomore E.J. Kuebler (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville North) who went (83-78; 161).  The Mavs fifth place finish is their fourth straight top 5 in the AMCC Championships and they will head into the spring season looking for their first tournament win.
