Medaille Sports

At Medaille, a sizeable part of our undergraduate student body takes part in our athletics program. Many athletes choose to participate in two or three sports. Our teams compete against colleges and universities throughout the northeast; several teams participate in tournaments in locations throughout the nation.

Highlights

• Men’s soccer had an unprecedented fourth consecutive (undefeated) regular season AMCC Conference Championship in 2008, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in the past four seasons.
• Women’s basketball advanced to the AMCC semifinals for the fifth straight season and had their sixth consecutive winning season.
• Men’s volleyball qualified for the NECVA Tournament.
• Bowling qualified for the Regional Tournament for the first time ever..
• Men’s lacrosse won a school record seven games and advanced to the NEAC Championship game..
• The golf team won two tournaments in 2008.
• Men’s basketball went a program best (21-7) and advanced to its first ever NCAA Tournament.
