Freeman_FSU #2The Medaille College women’s soccer team headed a couple of miles down Route 198 to take on Buffalo State College in a non-conference match this afternoon.  The day would prove to be dominated by senior Laura Freeman (Kenmore, NY/Kenmore West)(pictured) who would tally her third hat trick of the season.  Despite her efforts the Lady Mavs would have to settle for a (4-4) double overtime draw with the Bengals.  The host team would grab the early lead as they scored in the 11th minute on a shot from within the six.  The Lady Mavs would shake that off and go on a three goal run with Freeman netting their first in the 15th minute off an assist from Katie Bush (Jamestown, NY/Jamestown), the second also came courtesy of Freeman in the 37th minute which again came off a Katie Bush pass.  The Lady Mavs headed into the half with a (2-1) lead.  (more…)
