The Medaille College men’s lacrosse team was coming off a thrilling one goal win over Cazenovia that was decided by David Bennett (Macedon, NY/Palmyra-Macedon)(pictured) with thirteen seconds left on the clock. This afternoon’s game at Washington & Jefferson trumped that as the Mavs overcame a (6-0) deficit after the first quarter to outlast the President’s (14-13) in double overtime. The teams would play out the final fourteen seconds and head to overtime. Neither team would find the back of the net in the first overtime session and Bennett would end the game with a gutty unassisted tally with (2:40) remaining in the second OT.
