Softball Drops Two on Day Three in Florida
After a great day on Monday, a sweep of Bethany College and Morrisville State, the Medaille College softball team came back down to Earth as they dropped two straight games on St. Patrick’s day. In their first game the Lady Mavs were blanked (10-0) by Westfield State. In that loss starting pitcher Keeley John (Gowanda, NY/Gowanda) was injured and was charged with the loss. In the second game, an (8-5) loss to Midland Lutheran, the Lady Mavs received another strong performance from freshman Kristen Rohe (Buffalo, NY/Cleveland Hill)(pictured) who went (3 for 4) from the plate. The Lady Mavs record is now even at (3-3) on the year. They will play two more games tomorrow (3/18), Suffolk College at 9:30am and Philadelphia Biblical at 1:30pm.
