Men’s soccer standout Gary Boughton (Lancaster/Lancaster High School) will have solid experience with a nationally-competitive team once the fall season begins Friday, August 29. As Boughton starts his junior year at Medaille, the 5′9″ midfielder will have completed a summer season with the Fort Wayne Fever, a Premier Development League (PDL) team based in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

In 2007, Boughton scored three goals and four assists in his first year playing in the PDL. In the first half of he 2008 season, he has scored six goals and one assist for a total of thirteen points.

Men’s soccer goalie J.J. Bilinski was named to the PDL (Premier Development League) Team of the Week for week 10 of the 2008 season. Playing for the Fort Wayne Fever, Bilinski made 12 saves against the Michigan Bucks in the 4-1 match.

The Medaille College cross country team will enter its third season under the tutelage of Allison Carr in 2008. The 2007 season saw marked improvement for both teams as they improved their standing in the conference during the fall. The Medaille College varsity golf program will look to improve upon their 2nd place finish at the 2007 AMCC Championships. In 2007 the Mavs finished on the winning half of competing fields in 5 of 7 tournaments and saw seven rounds in the 70’s over the fall season. More »

The women’s soccer season preview is now available.

The women’s soccer team will look to continue their improvement in 2008 as they come off a season in which they finished with their best record ever at (14-6-1) overall and (6-3-0) in AMCC play. The Lady Mavs will look to return to the AMCC playoffs for a fifth straight year. A new face will be pacing the sidelines for Medaille as first-year head coach Chris LeFevre takes the helm. LeFevre will take the reigns from Dan Krzyzanowicz who led Medaille to a (42-33-3) record in his four years as head coach. More »

The Medaille Mavericks Men’s Soccer Program enters their seventh season under head coach Daniel J. Krzyzanowicz with hopes of an unprecedented fourth consecutive AMCC Regular Season Conference Championship and getting back to the NCAA tournament.

Coach K will return nine starters and 16 varsity letter winners from the 2007 squad. This 2009 senior class will enter the season with a three-year career record of 55 wins, six losses and six ties. The team will be led by captains: senior Jared Reisdorf (Strykersville, NY/Holland), senior Jacob Reisdorf (Strykersville, NY/Holland) and junior midfielder Gary Boughton (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster). Medaille College is seeking a part-time 10 month Women’s Volleyball Coach, responsible for all facets of developing and maintaining a successful women’s volleyball program including, but not limited to scheduling and conducting practice/training sessions, recruiting athletically and academically qualified students, hiring and supervising an assistant coach, maintaining NCAA, AMCC & college regulations and policies, and fundraising.
